Spotlight Interview- Gass Jarra- Afrizon Bespoke Service

Gass talks to us about Afrizon Bespoke Service, an organisation providing information and community support for childcare and batch cooking for families and how offering respite to families in need can make a difference.

What is your vision?

Our vision is to be an All-in-one information portal and community support for childcare and batch cooking, to assist in the day-day living for working parents/children with neurodiversity, low-income families, single-parent households, or families that are struggling to make ends meet, assist with child guidance, school transportation and cheap nutritious batched cooked meals.

How does ABS support the community?

ABS supports the community in different ways, it provides deeper human connections as our Motto states. One of our ways is through offering a few hours of respite to single parents / the parents of children with neurodiversities especially within the BAME community. This enables parents to do as they please -   shop, go watch a movie, go to the gym ect.

What is your favourite part of ABS?

My favourite thing in being a part of ABS team is the connections you make and the bespoke support tailored specifically to suit  the individual needs.

Can you share an example of how your service has impacted one of your members?

One of our members, has been so greatful to ABS for allowing them to carry on with their college education without worring about childcare/transportation and ready meals on their table after a long day's activities. In her words "I couldn’t have made it through college this year without ABS".

How can people access your support?
